WWE have a new “Where are they Now?” article on their official website with former WWE Superstar Paul Burchill, who is now working as a firefighter-paramedic with the Jefferstown, Kentucky Fire Department, in addition to being a member of the Jefferstown Police Department’s SWAT team and a paramedic with Yellow EMS in Louisville, Kentucky.
When asked if he thought of continuing to wrestle after the WWE, Burchill had the following to say, “Having wrestled with the best in the world, I got my fix, I didn’t want people to remember me as the wrestler. I needed to do a little less for myself and a little more for others.”
Burchill noted that he’s also looking to become a registered nurse, with a goal of attending graduate school to earn a master’s degree and become a family nurse practitioner. The interview is available in full at this link.
