In an update on plans for WWE’s Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view, according to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there was some internal speculation that John Cena would get his WWE World Heavyweight Championship opportunity against Brock Lesnar at the event instead of at the 2015 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view, due to the fact that Lesnar will be returning to WWE television next month.

If Lesnar vs. Cena doesn’t go ahead at the event, Cena is also being considered for a triple threat TLC match which would include Seth Rollins and Randy Orton, however if the title match does go ahead, then Rollins will take on Orton in singles action at the event.
