In an update on Kurt Angle’s next career move following the expiration of his contract with TNA Wrestling, a report from PWInsider.com notes that their WWE sources indicate that the company is in conversation with Angle about a return and that the company offered him a full-time deal, pending Angle passing the company’s strict medical testing, however Angle rejected the full-time option, feeling that his body would not be able to handle the company’s full-time touring schedule.
The report notes the Angle has floated the idea of returning to the company on a part-time basis, possibly similar to Rob van Dam’s current deal and that discussions are ongoing, while Angle is also more than open to returning to TNA Wrestling if they can come to terms on a new deal, feeling that Dixie Carter personally and the company as a whole really helped him while he was dealing with personal issues in recent years.
Angle has noted in recent interviews that this next career move will potentially be his last year in professional wrestling.
