NWA Smoky Mountain is making history and hitting the road in October, holding its first-ever TV taping at the SAWmill in Millersville, Tennessee on October 4.
The main event of this TV taping will showcase one of the greatest rivalries in the history of the promotion.
Chase Owens will defend his NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title against Jason “The Gift” Kincaid. “The Real Deal” Owens dubs himself the top pound-for-pound professional wrestler in the world today, but Kincaid can lay claim to such status as well. He beat Owens about a year ago to win the NWA World Junior championship in a fantastic title vs. title match that remains one of the greatest contests that ever took place inside the NWA Smoky Mountain ring.
The rivalry between these two men stretches back years, and has seen them do battle even as far as Houston, Texas. Can Kincaid, who is currently the NWA Smoky Mountain Heavyweight Champion, defeat Owens and claim NWA World gold for a second time?
