CMLL Director Jose Luis Feliciano tweeted out yesterday that TV Azteca (not Azteca America perse) would be broadcasting part if not all of the Anniversario show which takes place in two weeks which seemed like a big deal but later on he tweeted that he made an error and a deal wasn’t done yet.

In more CMLL wackiness, the #1 Contender torneo for the CMLL Tag Titles that started last Monday at Arena Puebla isn’t for that anymore as it is for the Copa 81st Anniversario Arena Puebla. This was changed after events at Arena Mexico last night where Rush demanded a shot at the CMLL Tag Titles and they are running with him & La Mascara challenging Negro Casas & Shocker for the titles at the Anniversario show in two weeks.

CMLL 9/5 – Arena Mexico
1. Hombre Bala Jr./Pegasso/Super Halcon Jr. beat Canelo Casas/Los Hombres del Camoflaje (Artillero y Super Comando)
2. The Sexy Team (Dark Angel/Estrellita/Goya Kong) defeated La Comandante/Tiffany/Zeuxis
3. La Fuerza TRV (Damian el Terrible/Rey Bucanero/Vangelis) beat Brazo de Plata/Fuego/Stuka Jr.
4. Lightning Match: Rey Cometa fought El Barbaro Cavernario to a 10:00 draw and Cometa challenged Cavernario to a hair match on the Anniversario show in two weeks which was accepted.
5. Atlantis/Dragon Rojo/Volador Jr. defeated Gran Guerrero/Rey Escorpion/Ultimo Guerrero by DQ when Thunder returned and turned on the tecnicos by attacking Atlantis and sending Volador Jr. on a stretcher ride. Thunder has also joined Los Guerreros Laguneros as an affiliate.
6. Los Ingobernales (La Mascara/Rush/La Sombra) beat La Peste Negra (Felino/Negro Casas/Mr. Niebla) and Rush demanded a shot at the CMLL Tag Titles afterwards.
