The following results are from a recent WWE pay-per-view event. WWE Payback took place on June 1st, 2014 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois and aired live at 8pm Eastern on pay-per-view and the WWE Network.
Mask vs. Hair (Pre-Show Match)
El Torito defeated Hornswoggle. Post-match, Hornswoggle was shaved bald.
WWE United States Championship Match
Sheamus (c) defeated Cesaro (w/Paul Heyman). Prior to the match, Paul Heyman came out and said that he was here for a “Paul Heyman Guy”, to which the crowd chanted for CM Punk. Heyman said that Punk is at the United Center watching the Blackhawks get their streak broken, the same way that Brock Lesnar ended The Undertaker’s streak at WrestleMania.
Tag Team Match
RybAxel (Ryback & Curtis Axel) defeated Cody Rhodes & Goldust. Post-match, Cody Rhodes got on the mic and told his brother that he needs to find himself a new tag team partner and left the ring.
Singles Match
Rusev (w/Lana) defeated Big E.
Singles Match
Bo Dallas vs. Kofi Kingston never really happened in a sense as Kane interrupted as the match was about to start and attacked Kofi Kingston. Post-match, Bo Dallas got in the ring and said that Kofi will be back on his feet soon and all he has to do is “BOlieve”.
WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Bad News Barrett (c) defeated Rob van Dam.
In Ring Segment
Stephanie McMahon came to the ring and called out Daniel Bryan, who came out with Brie Bella. Stephanie said that sh’s happy to see Brie, because it’s been an unfortunate predicament that Bryan has put his wife in and said that if at some point they have weird bearded babies, they will be able to show them whether he’s going to do the right thing or show them how selfish Daniel Bryan really is. Bryan got on the mic and put over the reaction Stephanie got when she came out. Stephanie said that she is the boss, while Bryan said that this is her chance to do the right thing and that he fought hard to headline WrestleMania. The crowd chanted for CM Punk as Bryan stopped and smiled, while Stephanie got on the mic and said that Bryan can walk out on the fans just like CM Punk did. Bryan said that he hopes that Stephanie’s children are watching so that they can see what a narcissistic, self-centered little, what is the word, to which Brie interrupted by saying “B****”. Stephanie said that she now knows who holds the pants in the family and said that Brie’s only mistake was picking a loser of a husband. Brie said that she knows what needs to be done. Stephanie got on the mic and demanded that Bryan hand over the belts and do the right thing, however Brie interrupted and said that she’s not going to be a powerless victim, to which Stephanie said that she’s in charge of Brie. Brie said that isn’t the case anymore as Stephanie can’t fire her, she quits. Brie then slapped Stephanie who stood in the ring stunned at what had happened.

John Cena defeated Bray Wyatt.
WWE Divas Championship Match
Paige (c) defeated Alicia Fox.
