In an interview with his good friend Mike Mooneyham of The Charleston Post & Courier, 2-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair confirmed that he’s scheduled to wrestle for a Japanese promotion this September, noting that he’s down to 228 pounds and is in the best shape of his life that he’s been in since his run in TNA Wrestling.
Flair also spoke on the reports of him managing Dolph Ziggler and stated that he thinks Dolph’s awesome and he’d be a great guy to manage as he looks like a million bucks, but noted that Dolph just can’t find his gimmick and needs to work on his entrance, something Flair would be willing to work with him on.
In regards to his daughter, Flair noted that WWE NXT Diva Charlotte will be the greatest Flair of all time and that her credentials speak for themselves and that she’s going to be the greatest female wrestler and most famous Diva in the history of the WWE. Speaking of Charlotte, the newly-crowned WWE NXT Women’s Champion took to her Twitter account following last night’s WWE NXT Takeover event, dedicating her victory to her late brother Reid.
