In an update on Mason Ryan’s release from the WWE, a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that officials felt that Ryan wasn’t improving in developmental/NXT at a fast enough pace and despite being well-liked with no ego, the decision was made to cut him, a decision the report notes was a tough one as he has the size the company likes.

Meanwhile, in an update on Danny Burch’s WWE release, the feeling internally was that the company gave up on him after he returned from knee surgery.
