In an update on Christian’s WWE status following a concussion suffered on Monday’s edition of WWE RAW, there have been a lot of questions backstage in regards to the former World Heavyweight Champion suffering his second concussion within a calendar year.
Due to this being Christian’s second concussion suffered within a calendar year, he must now undergo a one-on-one evaluation with Dr. Mark Lovell, the same specialist that Dolph Ziggler met with before he gained medical clearance from his concussion troubles and will also have to pass an ImPact Concussion Test before being cleared to make an in-ring return.
Prior to the second concussion, there has been talk that Christian’s in-ring career could be coming to an end when his contract expires as he has been getting injured a lot lately, which has led to creative having no real plans for him. Internally, there is a belief that WWE will make an offer for Christian to become a WWE NXT trainer as he is well liked and has a good mind for the business.
