Octagon finally clarified the status of his gimmick to Apolo Valdes of Medio Tiempo yesterday and said that he made a deal with AAA to use the gimmick while he works as an independent contractor. Don’t be shocked if he isn’t back in AAA before the end of the year.
Last night in Tijuana, the former Horus who has been working as Hijo del Rey Misterio lately decided to give that gimmick up and wanted to be known now as Rey Horus. This took place after a special tribute ceremony for Rey Misterio Sr. & Fishman for their classic battle in Tijuana on 3/26/88 and there had been some talk that there may be another guy put in that gimmick which would be the 3rd one.

4. 3 Way Dance: Leon Apolo defeated Cien Caras Jr. & X-Fly who was supposed to work against Sabu but he wasn’t there.
5. Carlito Colon/Fuerza Guerrera/Chavo Guerrero Jr. beat Juventud Guerrera/Octagon/Ricky Marvin when Fuerza fouled and pinned Octagon.
6. WWL Heavyweight Title: Monster Pain battled Mil Mascaras to a no contest when Los Mamitos interfered to help Monster.
7. WWL Tag Titles: Los Mamitos (Mr. E & Sexy B) defeated Hijo del Dos Caras & Sicodelico Jr. to retain their titles when Sexy B ripped off Sicodelico’s mask and pinned him.
