In a major shake up to the WWE creative team, Jon Weisman of Variety.com notes that former Reveille and Warner Brothers executive Eric Pankowski has left his position with Reveille, who he had only joined back in September 2011 to take up a role as the Senior Vice President of Creative and Development with the WWE.
Pankowski, as mentioned above, had joined Reville in September 2011 as the Senior Vice President of Creative affairs and in his new role with the WWE, he will be responsible for all TV creative development including reality and kids programming, managing the creative writing teams and overseeing the sale of programming to other networks, studios and other distrubutors.
Pankowski will report to WWE’s Executive Vice President of Creative, Stephanie McMahon, who noted that Eric is a creative verteran whose knowledge and experience will be a tremendous asset in both the creation of new WWE content, as well as enhancing the WWE’s core product.
