In an update on Sting possibly joining the WWE, the former WCW & TNA Wrestling superstar has not signed a contract with the company, however the internal feeling is that things will be wrapped up soon as there is a ton of work being done on the merchandising side of things.
In an interesting note, the signing of Sting is not seen as a priority by the company according to a report from PWInsider, however the WWE do want him to be part of the company as he would be the last part of the WWE’s WCW puzzle and realize that there is a lot of money to be made with him through t-shirts, action figures and other merchandise including video games.
The report notes that the latest word is that Sting may appear at WrestleMania 30 but not wrestle with the idea that he would wrestle a few matches before being used as a special attraction, something similar to The Undertaker and that he could potentially be inducted into the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame.
