In an interview with Mike Jones of DC101, WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston discussed the possible WrestleMania 30 main event, his current push and Brock Lesnar’s return to the WWE.
Highlights of the interview are below:
On the possible WrestleMania 30 main event: “I think John Cena and if you think about potential opponents, with Brock back, even though they had a series of matches, I think that would be interesting. Batista as well. So right now, I think until anyone unseats him, I think John is at the top of the hill. Of course but you know right now as far as titles are concerned, Randy is the guy. But there are a lot of different players and it’ll be interesting to see how this shakes out.”
On Brock Lesnar’s return and if he will get revenge for Lesnar’s attack on Mark Henry: “I feel like Mark can handle his own business. Mark’s a monster in his own right. As far as me, we’ll see what happens. I look forward to Mark Henry taking care of his own business.”
On what has led to his current push: “After Summerslam, I spent a month and a half not doing much. Pretty much for me, it was having that match with Punk on WWE RAW after really not being on TV for a month and a half. I think that kind of gave me some traction. From there, getting to have matches with guys who were looked at as top figures.”
