The following are the results of the November 18th edition of WWE RAW, which had a country music theme to it. The show took place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, and is the final RAW before Sunday’s Survivor Series pay-per-view.
In Ring Segment
The Authority return to RAW and open up the show. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon say they are rested, and will take care of Brad Maddox and Vickie Guerrero later. Randy Orton interrupts, and storms his way to the ring. Orton is irate over what has happened to him the last couple of weeks and says that they need to take better care of the face of the company. “Excuse Me,” and Guerrero and Maddox interrupt Triple H, and Maddox blames Vickie for everything that happened last week! Triple H then informs the duo that they will be competing tonight in the ring. Vickie will face the Divas Champion AJ Lee, and Maddox will face the WWE Champion Randy Orton. The Orton/Maddox match will also be a no disqualification match, and is up next after the commercial break.
Singles Match-No DQ
Randy Orton defeated Brad Maddox via referee’s decision to stop the match. Orton was punching Maddox with a microphone, and was unable to defend himself.
After the break, we’re shown Brad Maddox being stretchered away in the backstage area, and Vickie is shown looking very nervous.
Intercontinental Championship Match
Big E. Langston defeated Curtis Axel by pin fall with the Big Ending, and is the NEW IC Champion. The announcers mention this is the first title win for Langston in the WWE (I’m assuming the WWE NXT Championship doesn’t count?).
After the match, Randy Orton is shown in the locker room with The Shield, and he tells them that he has talked to The Authority and that they are all on the same page now. He tells The Shield that they will have his back at Survivor Series. Roman Reigns tells Orton if that’s what The Authority wants, that’s fine, but he tells Orton that he has to have The Shield’s back as well.
In Ring Segment
Divas Musical Chairs segment in the ring with all the Divas wearing their cowgirl gear. No winner, the game breaks into a big Divas brawl.
Singles Match
The Big Show defeated Ryback by pin fall with a KO punch. After the match, Orton tried to attack Show but was met with a spear by The Big Show.
Backstage Segment
The Rhinestone Cowboys (3MB) confront the country band Florida Georgia Line in the back, and wish them luck on their performance.
After the break, Orton is in the back getting attended to after that spear from Big Show. He’s irate, and yelling “where was The Shield? Where was The Authority?” Then he kicks the trainer out of the room.
Tag Team Match
The Real Americans (w/Zeb Colter) defeated Kofi Kingston & The Miz by submission with the Patriot Act. During the match, The Miz turned heel on Kofi when he didn’t tag into the match.
Divas Match
AJ Lee (w/Tamina) defeated Vickie Guerrero by submission with the Black Widow.
After the match, Michael Cole announces that a new 7 on 7 traditional Survivor Series Match has been added to this Sunday’s pay-per-view. It will feature a team of “Total Divas” (The Bellas, Natalya, Naomi, Cameron, Eva Marie & Jo JO) vs a team led by AJ Lee and Tamina.
Broadway Brawl Singles Match
Dolph Ziggler defeated Damien Sandow by pin fall with a guitar shot to the head.
Backstage Segment
Randy Orton barges into the office of Triple H and Stephanie, and demands to know what is going on? Orton asks if he still has their confidence in him as the face of WWE, to which Stephanie replied we “need to think about it.”
In Ring Segment
John Cena comes out to the ring to discuss his current health after the attack by Alberto Del Rio last week. He questions if he came back to the ring too soon from injury, but then says it was all worth it to come back to these WWE fans. Cena says he will be fine for Sunday’s Survivor Series, but then is interrupted by Alberto Del Rio, who mocks his speech to the fans. Del Rio tries to attack, but Cena gets to him first and gets him into his AA finisher. Del Rio is able to hold onto the top rope and escape to the outside.
Tag Team Match
R-Truth & Xavier Woods defeated The Rhinestone Cowboys (Drew McIntyre & Jinder Mahal) (w/Heath Slater) by pin fall.
Live Musical Performance
Florida Georgia Line perform live the theme to tonight’s WWE RAW Country.
12-Man Tag Team Match
Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Goldust, Cody Rhodes, Jimmy & Jey Uso defeated The Shield and The Wyatt Family by pin fall in a near 30 minute match. After the match, The Real Americans joined their Survivor Series partners The Shield to attack CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. They were in control until Rey Mysterio made his return to RAW, and came out to save Punk and Bryan, and attacked all the heels. RAW ends with all the faces in the ring celebrating and doing the Yes chants with the crowd.
