TNA Wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan was a guest on today’s edition of Loose Woman on ITV1.

Andrea McLean introduced a clip of Sting vs. Hogan from Bound For Glory before Hogan made his appearance on set and did his familiar hand to the ear entrance. Hogan noted that his Facebook and Twitter was been blown up with comments about him appearing on the show and noted that the girls had their act together and they look beautiful, but stated that he was upset that they showed him beating up his friend Sting.

Andrea commented about watching wrestling as a kid and how old ladies and men used to be in the front row and they left, before Hogan noted the same and that wrestling became a “family show” and that wrestling has changed and they didn’t want to insult the audience and had to tell them that is was pre-determined.

Andrea then asked Hogan about if its pre-determined as to whether an individual wants to be face or heel, to which Hogan noted that sometimes it works that way or a promoter/creative will make that decision. Hogan noted that the company usually takes a good look at the person to judge their personality. Janet Street Porter asked Hogan if anyone has never abided by the wrestling rules, to which Hogan noted that has happened back in the day and that if it happened in the 70’s and 80’s the wrestlers would be given a hard-time by the other guys, however these days, it can usually end up with someone being fired from the company.

Andrea asked Hogan on what has changed in the business over the past 30 years, to which Hogan responded that there is so many choices for what is available on television that it’s harder to keep a lengthy storyline going, bringing up how back in the day, he could have an arguement with Andre The Giant and months later would face off at the big event, however these days, if he had an arguement, you might see the culmination of things later that night or on the upcoming PPV as the storylines have to move a lot quicker to hold the attention of the audience.

Jane McDonald asked Hulk if he still wrestles regularly, to which Hogan responded “not much” and noted that he’s 58 years old and he’s had 8 back surgeries, however in the old days he could work up to 300 days a year, however nowadays he’s working behind the scenes with creative and the direction of TNA Wrestling and then plugged TNA’s show in the UK, including the tapings on Saturday night, which he stated that he will be actively involved on-screen in.

Hogan talked about how his decision to fly to the UK for the tapings was a last minute thing as he recently had dental surgery from a mistake that happened and that he then received medical clearance to fly to the TNA events. Hogan said that TNA is focused on bringing more live events to the United Kingdom as the fanbase is huge and that the company need to service the UK market.

Janet Street Porter then noted that Hogan has an artificial hip, to which Hogan laughed and responded that it’s not the only thing added to him as he has had a knee replacement and that people told him he couldn’t wrestle anymore, however he continued, including even after being told that he couldn’t after his 8 back surgeries. Hogan then once again plugged TNA Wrestling including his relationship with Dixie Carter and how Dixie loves the wrestling business and that TNA is her dream and her company and that the company is growing and getting bigger and bigger.

Andrea then noted that they were almost out of time, however stated that they might appear front row at an event, to which Hogan stated he would set up, before flexing his muscles to end the interview.
