Due to a protest by the teachers union in Mexico City, CMLL has been forced to cancel their show at Arena Coliseo tomorrow afternoon because the protests will take place near the building and there would be virtually no way for fans to get in and out.

There are some issues going on between Galavision and AAA/CMLL as they are pre-empting both shows this weekend which never happens…sure one might get it but not both shows. The network has shifted times in the past to get the shows on the air and they have worked around soccer matches and the like. This is fueling the rumors fire that had started recently about how AAA/CMLL would be taken off of broadcast TV in Mexico which would be a huge story. Leo Riano from Televisa Deportes acknowledged the rumors on Twitter and it sounds like the shows would be moved to Televisa Deportes specific network not the main one. This is a developing story for sure.

WWE announced on Wednesday that they would be making their return to Mexico from October 16th-19th with shows in Queretaro, Guadalajara, Mexico City, & Monterrey in that order. These are all house shows and the Mexico City show will compete head-to-head against CMLL at Arena Mexico with WWE running Arena Ciudad which is where AAA has run for Triplemania the last two years. WWE World Heavyweight Champ Alberto del Rio did press for the shows on Thursday and said that he would be coming home along with Big Show, C.M. Punk, Rey Misterio Jr., The Wyatt Family, and others. One name that wasn’t mentioned was Sin Cara.

Blue Panther in talking about training for his big hair match against Averno on the 80th Anniversario show at Arena Mexico on 9/13 said that he has been working with his sons Black Panther & El Cachorro and feels that he will be at his best for the match. BP made a sly comment though saying that he hoped that Averno doesn’t wimp out on his Submission Rules stipulation for the match because if he doesn’t then BP thinks it could be the greatest match CMLL has ever seen.

WWL moved their scheduled show at Plaza de Toros Lauro Luis Longoria in Nuevo Laredo to Gimnasio Nazaro Ortiz Garcia in Saltillo which is 3 1/2 hours Southwest from Nuevo Laredo.

AAA 8/30 – Arena Naucalpan (Sin Limite taping)
1. La Magnifica & Mari Apache beat Fabi Apache & Lolita with help from Cuervo and Mari Apache has aligned with La Secta.
2. Dinastia & Mascarita Sagrada defeated Mini Charly Manson & Mini Histeria
3. Crazy Boy/Joe Lider/Nino Hamburguesa beat Carta Brava Jr./Eterno/Hijo del Pirata Morgan but the story was after the match when Juventud Guerrera made his return to AAA and asked the Mexican Powers if he could rejoin them which they agreed to and everyone danced.
4. Triangular de Tercias: Los Güeros del Cielo (Angelico & Jack Evans) defeated Machine Rocker & Soul Rocker and Daga & Psicosis Original
5. The Psycho Circus (Monster Clown/Murder Clown/Psycho Clown) beat Chessman/Hijo del Texano/Pentagon Jr. who got pinned so Texano escaped again without having to give Psycho Clown a shot at his AAA Mega Heavyweight Title.
6. La Secta Bizarra (Cuervo/Escoria/Ozz) defeated Perro Aguayo Jr./Cibernetico/El Mesias when after Perro & Ciber fought each other, La Secta snuck in a foule. La Secta then beat up everyone including Fabi Apache afterwards.

1. Apocalipsis & Disturbio beat Metalico & Sensei
2. Amapola/Princesa Blanca/La Seductora defeated Dalis la Caribena/Goya Kong/Marcela who was attacked by Dalis after Marcela accidentally dropkicked her. Dalis left very angry.
3. Averno/Polvora/Rey Escorpion beat Blue Panther/Mascara Dorada/Mistico II with the Revolucionarios beating the Estetas to win then challenged for a shot at the CMLL Trios Titles afterwards which was accepted by Dorada on a later date.
