New Japan Pro Wrestling announced late last night that Hirooki Goto and Hiroyoshi Tenzan have been pulled from the ongoing G1 CLIMAX Tournament due to injuries, with Goto suffering from a broken jaw, while Tenzan suffering from a broken rib.

New Japan announced that their remaining matches will be forfeit losses and their opponents will be awarded 2 points each, meaning that in Block A, Tomohiro Ishii, Katsuyori Shibata and Davey Boy Smith Jr all receive an added 2 points, while in Block B, Yuji Nagata, Shinsuke Nakamura and Kota Ibushi all receive 2 points added.
