Following on from the departure of Jack Korpela from the WWE, the company issued the following today, noting that they are looking for a new on-air announcer.

Description
WWE, one of the most popular brands in global entertainment, has an immediate opening for an experienced, professional On-Air Announcer. This person will be the face of WWE’s Live Event Promotions. The position will be based in Stamford, CT on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, and will require travel approximately once per month. WWE programming is broadcast in more than 145 countries and 30 languages and reaches more than 500 million homes worldwide. Each week, approximately 12 million fans in the U.S. tune-in to watch WWE Superstars, Divas and Legends perform on Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown with millions more watching internationally.
Requirements
– Voiceover and /or TV commercial experience a plus
– Bilingual preferred
– Excellent verbal communication, presentation and selling/ pitching skills
– Able to travel as needed on a regular basis
