WWE have signed “Big Game” Smith James and Matt Bennett to developmental deals with the company.
Bennett is known for his work as a referee at Jersey All Pro Wrestling and has already reported to developmental, while James is a protege of TNA commentator Taz and will be reporting in 2 months after he finishes up his scheduled independent dates.
James took to his Twitter account commenting on the deal writing, “The next 2 months will be my last indy shows for the foreseeable future (hopefully longer) as I was offered a WWE developmental contract”. Taz also took to his Twitter to congratulate James on the news.
