WWE Quick Results: Live Event

The following results are from a recent WWE Monday Night RAW live event. The event took place on January 7th, 2012 in Tyler, Texas.

In Ring Segment
The Miz came out to start the event and talked about how he has been attacked by R-Truth in recent weeks and he will get his revenge on R-Truth, as well as claim back his WWE Championship later on in the night. R-Truth came out and chased him out of the ring. David Otunga came out, acting as the RAW General Manager for the evening and said that The Miz needs to get ready for the main event and R-Truth should clear the area. Truth then told Otunga that Little Jimmy told him he could watch this event before walking away.

WWE Divas Championship Match

Beth Phoenix (c) defeated Eve Torres.

Tag Team Match
Alex Riley and Mason Ryan defeated Michael McGillicutty and Antonio Cesaro.

WWE United States Championship Match
Zack Ryder (c) defeated Jack Swagger.

In Ring Segment
Chris Jericho came out to a huge ovation and high-fived various people in the front row, before doing the same thing as Monday, with seeing who was the most vocal section of the crowd. Jericho then asked for a mic so that he could speak, however just as he was about to start talking, David Otunga’s music hit and he came to the ring. Otunga said that as the acting RAW General Manager tonight, he is ordering Jericho to remove his sparkling jacket, as it could cause seizures. Jericho looked at Otunga and started smiling, before Otunga got in Jericho’s face and demanded that he removes it now. Jericho removed the jacket and then attacked Otunga, placing him in the Walls of Jericho and played to the crowd before heading to the back. Photos of Jericho’s return to WWE live events are below:
