New Japan Pro Wrestling released the following footage featuring All Elite Wrestling star Claudio Castagnoli issuing a challenge to Shota Umino as part of the Wrestle Dynasty 2025 event on January 5th, with Castagnoli appearing as Jon Moxley’s “emissary” that he promised he would send to face Umino.

Umino is scheduled to challenge Zack Sabre Jr. for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship as part of the NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 event on January 4th.
