AEW TNT Champion Jack Perry made a surprise appearance during Friday night’s NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed event and issued a challenge to Yota Tsuji for a match between the two at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5th, 2025.

During the event, the lights went out with a video showing someone putting a knife to a picture of Tsuji, with Perry attacking Tsuji as the lights came back up.
