– WWE superstar John Cena is featured in an inteview with AZCentral.com discussing this Sunday’s WWE Royal Rumble. On the importance of the match, Cena had the following to say, “The Royal Rumble is special because it signifies the road to WrestleMania. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done. Winning the Royal Rumble is as big an accomplishment as anything. Believe it or not, I like the Rumble. It’s extremely unpredictable and over-the-top. Meanwhile, Cena had the following to say on his pick for the winner of the WWE Championship match between CM Punk and The Rock, “I’m torn. – Booker T took part in a conference call today and noted that he will not be an entrant in this year’s Royal Rumble and noted that he is starting work on a second autobiography and that his book will include his time with WWE and WCW, but not with TNA Wrestling. Booker also noted that he thinks another WCW reunion or Invasion angle in professional wrestling is not necessary.

– The plans for Dolph Ziggler to turn face in the coming months are currently on hold. Original plans had Ric Flair working with Ziggler, with Ziggler adding the Figure Four Leglock to his list of moves, however as seen on television, Flair is working with The Miz instead.

– Mark Henry is currently on a promotional tour in Istanbul, Turkey, ahead of the company’s live events in the country next month.

– Speaking to WWE Magazine, WWE superstar Zack Ryder noted that the scar on his chest is due to a battle with cancer during his high school years. Ryder noted that he missed a year of school battling cancer and never talks about it that much, because he doesn’t want sympathy.
