The Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) promotion in Mexico crowned a new Mexican National Lightweight Champion as part of their CMLL Noche de Campeones 2024 event on Friday night as Rayo Metalico defeated Futuro to become the new Champion.

Rayo Metalico’s victory brings an end to Futuro’s 425-day reign as the Champion.
