– An announcement on the second person to be inducted into the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame class is expected within the coming weeks, as the company are still locking down some names to be announced. There are many under the impression that another announcement could potentially be made on tomorrow’s WWE RAW leading to the 2013 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view, however that isn’t confirmed. Meanwhile, a report from PWInsider notes that there was talk recently backstage in WWE about inducting Scott Hall and Jake “The Snake” Roberts into the WWE Hall of Fame and that Diamond Dallas Page, who has previously been considered for a WWE Hall of Fame induction himself, may have been the one to suggest the idea to the WWE.
– WWE have an article on their official website looking at WWE NXT prospects, which includes the likes of Richie Steamboat, The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper & Rowan), Paige, Bo Dallas, Anya, Kassius Ohno, Adrian Neville and Leo Kruger.
– Many people within the company are expecting Billy Gunn and Road Dogg to be 2 names in the 2013 WWE Royal Rumble match.
– Speaking of the Royal Rumble, as mentioned previously, the company have locked down surprises appearances for the night. Tommy Dreamer’s name was brought up in meetings, as were the names of MVP, Shelton Benjamin and John Morrison. There is a belief that MVP’s return to the company, should they want him back, could be delayed due to his deal with New Japan Pro Wrestling. Another name that has popped up in talks is Kaval, who briefly worked for the company during his time, but that is considered to be just discussion and nothing is expected to come of it.
– WWE officials are once again toying with the idea of pairing Rosa Mendes with Alberto del Rio and feel that she could add to his character, even as WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
– Jeff Hardy noted in a recent interview that while he and CM Punk have different beliefs in terms of their outlook on life, it was great to work with him and that Punk is so talented it’s crazy, stating that they had many great matches together and that it was a pleasure to work with him.
