The Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre promotion have confirmed that Bryan Danielson will face off against Blue Panther as part of the April 5th CMLL Viernes Espectacular event at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico.
The announcement came after the ending of Friday’s Viernes Espectacular ~ Homenaje a dos Leyendas event, where Danielson issued the challenge to Blue Panther, which was accepted.
Danielson has been open in the past, including in a recent social media post about how a match against Blue Panther is a dream match for him, as well as the revelation that he considers Blue Panther to be his favorite luchador of all time.
