Ole Anderson, who was a founding member of The Four Horsemen stable, has passed away at the age of 81, with the news shared by WWE Hall of Famer “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair.
Anderson, real name Alan Robert Rogowski, started his career back in 1967 for the American Wrestling Association (AWA) promotion under the name of Rock Rogowski and throughout his career made appearances for Jim Crockett Promotions, World Championship Wrestling, All Japan Pro Wrestling, Mid-South Wrestling, Maple Leaf Wrestling, the National Wrestling Alliance, Georgia Championship Wrestling, Championship Wrestling From Florida, International Wrestling Enterprise and more.
Anderson held numerous titles throughout his career, including being a two-time AWA Midwest Heavyweight Champion, two-time AWA Midwest Tag Team Champion, eight-time NWA World Tag Team Champion, two-time NWA National Television Champion, two-time NWA National Tag Team Champion among other accomplishments in his career. Anderson was also inducted into the WCW Hall of Fame in 1994, as well as the NWA Hall of Fame in 2010.
