New Japan Pro Wrestling star Hiromu Takahashi was crowned the new DDT Ironman Heavymetalweight Champion during today’s DDT God Bless DDT 2023 event at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

Following a match between Kazuki Hirata and Takeshi Masada for the title, where Hirata emerged victorious and won the title, Takahashi pinned Hirata to walk away as the new Champion.

The DDT Ironman Heavymetalweight Champion holds rules similar to that of the WWE 24/7 Championship and WWE Hardcore Championship, with the title won by several wrestlers over the years and items including a broom, a ladder and more.
