The feeling is that Del Rio and Randy Orton will be switching roles in the coming weeks, with Del Rio becoming a top babyface for the company, while Orton becomes a top heel. For those wondering, the company plan to keep Ricardo Rodriguez alongside Del Rio, feeling that it will help Ricardo appeal more to the fans.
– John Cena suffered a cut under his right eye during last night’s ladder match with Dolph Ziggler, but didn’t require medical attention. Cena was asked if he needed treatment by a ref, who had gloves on, but waved off the attention.
– Speaking through his official Twitter account, Mark Henry responded to reports from another news site that he had been cleared to return to the ring and had been pitched in recent plans. Henry replied, but quickly deleted the tweet which read, “this is bulls–t,truth is who ever wrote don’t now a damn thing. There is a chance I won’t come back,I have not been cleared yet.”
– Sin Cara is said to be working through injuries at the moment. The issues are said to be with his left knee, which has been bothering him for some time.
– WWE officials are trying to get Scott Hall to return to their rehabilitation facilities after learning of Hall being hospitalized again within the past two weeks due to complications with some of the medications that he has been taking. Hall has not yet re-entered the rehabilitation facility, however officials are working on having him there as soon as possible. The company have spent more money on Hall’s stints in rehab than any current or former talent.
– Zack Ryder commented on last night’s TLC pay-per-view writing the following, “TLC is tonight in New York’s @barclayscenter. Last year I won the US title at TLC. This year I got an e-mail saying that I was not needed.”
– The announced attendance for the WWE TLC pay-per-view was a sellout crowd of 15,748.
