Mercedes Mone, the former Sasha Banks in WWE, spoke with the press following her appearance at today’s NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 event, and discussed why KAIRI was her immediate target upon her debut.

“I’m interested in many wrestlers, but the reason I decided to fight KAIRI-san in the first place is because we have a past. On February 18th, San Jose, New Japan. I think it will be the best match in STARDOM history, so please look forward to it.”

Moné noted during the press conference that she would also like to face off against names including Miyu Yamashita and AZM.
