Following on from last night’s reports in regards to Kenneth Cameron being arrested on November 22nd, 2012 on charges of battery on a law enforcement officer and disorderly intoxication, the developmental star has been released from his contract with the WWE following the arrest.
Cameron, real name Thomas Latimer, was taken into custody at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office on both charges and was released approximately an hour later on $5,100 bail, $5,000 of which was attributed to the battery charge, with $100 attributed to disorderly intoxication.
Following his release, it is unknown as to what the WWE will do with Conor O’Brian going forward, as O’Brian teamed with Cameron as a tag team known as The Ascension on WWE NXT and were expected to be called up to the main roster shortly. Whether WWE will fast track an individual to the main roster alongside O’Brian remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, it is also unknown as to whether Cameron will remain in the United States and work the independent scene, or whether he will return home to his native country of England.
