Bayley, Dakota Kai and Io Shirai made their respective returns to the WWE as part of tonight’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view, confronting Bianca Belair.
Bayley had been out of action since July of last year after suffering a torn ACL during training at the WWE Performance Center, while Kai was one of several names released by the company in April of this year.
Meanwhile, Io Shirai had not appeared on WWE NXT since the NXT Stand & Deliver 2022 event back in April.
