As noted previously on the website, WWE were set to structure their developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling into a three-tier system, that would set the levels of each competitior in the developmental territory, but wouldn’t prevent a top tier star facing off against a lower tier star and having the lower tier star going over.

In a new update to changes at FCW, Matt Martlaro, who appears as an announcer and commentator on FCW and is best known for being Cody Rhodes’ bagger on WWE television, is now working at WWE’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut with the WWE creative team in order to help coordinate debuts from WWE’s developmental territory and work with the creative team on the new characters.

Amongst those under consideration for a call-up at the moment include Damien Sandow, Richie Steamboat, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.
