WWE SmackDown superstar Cesaro’s contract with the company has expired and both parties have yet to come to terms on a new contract, according to news first reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com.
The report notes that Cesaro, who last wrestled on the February 11th episode of SmackDown would have no 90-day non-compete clause as a result of his contract expiring, meaning that he could immediately sign with any promotion of his choosing unless he comes to terms on a new WWE deal.
