ICW No Holds Barred announced that NHL star and four-time Stanley Cup winner Darren McCarty will make his professional wrestling debut against Brandon Kirk as part of their ICW The Pit 4 event on October 1st in Fenton, Michigan.

McCarthy is best known for his two stints with the Detroit Red Wings, first from 1993 – 2004 and secondly from 2007 – 2009 before he retired. During his time away from the Detroit Red Wings, McCarty played for the Calgary Flames from 2005 – 2007.
