Hi there guys, I attended CM Punk’s DVD screening at the Chicago Portage Theater last night and it was an amazing experience to say the least. Prior to the screening, Punk bought pizza for the fans from Dimo’s Pizza and WWE cameras filmed some people outside, including who appeared to be the “Brock Lesnar Fan” and the “WWE Clown”. Lita, Cliff Compton, Colt Cabana, Marty DeRosa, Punk’s family and a few others were there and talked a little bit. Punk played a prank on us and told us to get comfortable and then played The Chaperone and the crowd started booing. Onto the DVD, which itself is unbelievably good and probably one of the best that the WWE has ever produced in my opinion. At one point I noticed Punk have a look around to see how glued people were to the screen watching the DVD with a smile on his face.

There was a question and answer session with Punk who noted that the WWE are currently redesigning the WWE Championship and that he has a good percentage of creative control with the current storyline involving his title reign, respect and aligning with Paul Heyman. Punk noted that he likes working with John Cena and despite what people may think, he’s not being forced to work with Cena and feels that he has the most in-ring chemistry with Cena. Punk noted that at the time of the 2011 WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view, he didn’t sign a contract prior to the event, but instead halfway through the pay-per-view. Punk put over young talent in the company and said that they have a bright future, mentioning Kassius Ohno, Antonio Cesaro, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and more and noted that the one guy he really wants to get in the ring with and hopes that it does happen is Stone Cold Steve Austin.

The best part though was yet to come, as at the end of the night, Punk thanked everyone for coming and said that he had bought milk and cookies for everyone, so they can go get that now.
