In a post on his official Twitter account, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair paid tribute to the late Jim Crockett Jr, who passed away yesterday at the age of 76.
Crockett Jr is best known for his work as a promoter with Jim Crockett promotions, later WCW, which he inherited following the passing of his father and was also the President of the National Wrestling Alliance for three terms, before departing the role in 1991.
I Moved To Charlotte In 1974 With $150 In My Pocket. Jimmy Crockett Was My Friend And My Boss. I Can’t Put Into Words How Much He Did For Me And My Career.
