Speaking through her official Twitter account over the weekend, former WWE Intercontinental Champion and WWE Women’s Champion Chyna commented on the reasoning behind her WWE departure.
Chyna noted that if fans didn’t know, herself and Triple H were engaged during the time of the McMahon/Helmsley takeover on WWE RAW and about 6 months into the storyline, Triple H (who she calls by his legitimate name of Paul) would come home and start arguements with her for no reason and leave for a few days and that one day he left and left the Haliburton brief case that she gave him in their house and while she’s not one to snoop on other people’s business, she felt that something wasn’t right and opened up the briefcase to find a love letter that Stephanie McMahon wrote to Paul a year earlier stating that she was in love with him.
Chyna then noted that she called Vince McMahon and told him about what she found, to which Vince replied that the jig was up and that the next day, she went to the WWE RAW taping where a bunch of wrestlers parted backstage and turned their backs to her not even asking why she was crying and these were the same wrestled that she had trained with and performed with day in and day out. Chyna noted that she was then led into Vince McMahon’s office where he was with Stephanie McMahon and that Stephanie said that Paul was hers and that Chyna had to deal with it, to which Chyna responded that Stephanie was lucky her father was in the same room or she would have ripped Stephanie’s face off. Chyna then stated that Vince told her to go home and take some time off and deal with it, however she was near the end of her contract and the company never decided to re-sign her to a new deal and that Vince chose his daughter’s happiness over his talent and while he should have, what happened was a business matter and while she may not have been used on RAW or SmackDown anymore, she wasn’t objected to working with talent and being a trainer or working in some other form for the company.
Chyna then noted that it was her, not Kristen Loken that was originally tapped to play the female Terminator in Terminator 3 but Vince McMahon threw his weight around and since all that happened all those years ago, she hasn’t heard from Triple H just to see how she was doing these days. Much more is contained on Chyna’s Twitter account at this link, where she talks about how herself and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson were the first two marketable stars from the Attitude Era as they were the first to appear on Newsweek and much more.
