In an update on WWE’s potential purchase of the Universal Wrestling Federation, Mid-South Wrestling and Mid-South Wrestling Power Pro Wrestling TV library (Watts Video Library), a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com notes that the video library still hasn’t been purchased by the company as of writing as contractual issues when presented have led to the Watts family not signing on the dotted line to date, despite a price being agreed between both sides.

Johnson notes that the Watts family are still fulfilling orders on the library via the UniversalWrestling.com website, however it is only a matter of time before both sides settle their dispute and seal the deal. The reason the WWE are so interested in the video library is due to the fact that there are a number of complete house shows taped from the 1980’s, giving WWE access to rare footage that can be re-purposed. It is to date, still recognized as the largest known video library that is not owned by the WWE as of writing.
