– Hulk Hogan noted on his Twitter account last night, that he had pulled out of an appearance at Northeast Wrestling’s “Wrestling with the Stars” event, stating that the company had falsely promoted that he would be wrestling at the event, following his recent back surgery. Reports suggested that Hogan was informed that a wrestling news website was advertising him as wrestling at the event and decided to pull out of the appearance. Given that various wrestling names have worked with NEW’s Michael Lombardi in the past and the company never had a history of false advertising, I can’t see how Hogan could have suspected such a thing, as it is noted on promotional posters for the event that he is only making an appearance at the event for a meet and greet session.

– DirecTV and Viacom came to an agreement in their negotiations last night, which saw Spike TV, the carrier of TNA Impact Wrestling, returning to DirecTV. Dixie Carter commented on the matter on her Twitter account noting, “@SpikeTV is back on @DirecTV! Thanks for all your great support. It comes 2 Thursdays too late for Impact fans, but don’t miss next Thurs!”

– In a bit of news that has got some people talking, if you click on the Twitter account of the Aces and Eights, the profile shows that the account is being followed by Jeff Jarrett and D’Lo Brown, but not by anyone else from the company and has seen Luke Gallows, Jay Bradley (former WWE star Ryan Braddock), Cliff Compton, Wes Brisco, Jeff Jarrett, Chris Masters and D’Lo Brown heavily talk about the group.

– Christopher Daniels is being heavily praised backstage for his work in the AJ Styles/Dixie Carter/Claire Lynch angle.

– Austin Aries is featured in an interview with Newsday promoting TNA Wrestling’s events this weekend at this link.

– Following on from the news that was announced on last night’s TNA Impact Wrestling, the company have confirmed on their website that Chavo Guerrero will be debuting next week. The signing of Chavo in my personal opinion is a great pickup for the company.
