WWE have made several changes to the creative team over the past few days, with Ed Koskey moved to the Lead Writer role on SmackDown Live as Ryan Ward has taken a leave of absence after getting married, according to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter who note that Ward’s absence began yesterday.
The report notes that Koskey, who is the Vice President of Creative Writing for the WWE, was moved to the brand to work with Eric Bischoff as the two have worked together in the past when Bischoff was previously with the company.
Meanwhile, the report also notes that Jonathan Baeckstrom, who had been heavily involved with the WWE 205 Live brand until he was shifted over to the WWE RAW brand recently, will be the new lead RAW writer under Executive Director Paul Heyman.
