WWE referee Charles Robinson, who is an avid collector of Hollywood memorabilia and wrestling memorabilia, had $55,000 worth of his possessions stolen from his storage unit last month, according to a report from TMZ.com.
The report notes that when Robinson went to check on his storage unit in Charlotte, North Carolina back on May 28th, he realized that someone had broken into the unit and taken possessions which included ultra-rare Evel Knievel stunt cycle toys, collectible Chucky dolls, Friday the 13th action figures, Planet of the Apes lunchboxes and WWE keepsakes.
The report adds that Robinson went to the police and filed a report, but that so far, police officials have not been able to track down the culprit, while one of his items, a Jaws statue valued at $2,400, appeared on eBay on Thursday night, however the seller’s post, as well as his username were taken down before Robinson noticed. Robinson also meanwhile feels that the storage company does not really seem concerned about helping him out and told him that security cameras on the premises did not catch the act.
