– Following on from a recent appearance on WWE Monday Night RAW, 51 year-old Sid Eudy (Sycho Sid) recently competed in a bodybuilding contest, which many in the business have considered a remarkable achievement as he’s got a weakened left arm from a torn biceps years back amongst several other nagging injuries.
– For those who have asked why Alberto del Rio made quick work of Sin Cara on Monday’s WWE RAW, the simple answer was to gain heat from the Laredo, Texas crowd. Sin Cara is NOT in any kind of trouble with WWE officials or in the dog house. The company wanted to get a lot of heat on Del Rio prior to the WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view, with the feeling that beating down a babyface in Sin Cara so close to the Mexican border may work.
– The WWE have posted two new job openings on their careers website, a Social Media producer, as well as a Live Events analyst. The Social Media producers responsibilities include voting, polling, texts and tweets for WWE’s TV shows and live events and will work with the TV production team, creative and the WWE.com web team and live events team on the matters at hand. As for the Live Events analyst, WWE is looking for that person to measure the success of live events beyond ticket sales and to create models and formulas to be able to predict attendance at live events and come up with ways to maximize the company’s revenue at said shows including pricing for various cities.
– There are said to be big plans in store for AJ over the coming months with Vince McMahon VERY HIGH up on her work. People in the company believe that Vince sees her as the next Miss Elizabeth and is loving her role in the Daniel Bryan/CM Punk feud.
– John Laurinaitis’ duties behind the scenes in the WWE appear to be cut down week-by-week as Pete Leone has now been given a role with talent relations. People within the company believe that this is another step towards Triple H taking some control of the company down the line as people he has hired have landed jobs in top positions in the company.
– Following on from the announcement that Charlie Sheen would be the Social Media Ambassador for the 1,000th episode of WWE RAW, there are many within the company wondering whether Charlie will even be watching the show on July 23rd as he rarely tweets on his personal account, instead using a man named Bob Maron to do his tweeting. Everything is sent from Sheen before posting it should be noted.
