The Velveteen Dream (c) defeated Buddy Murphy.
Backstage Segment
The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong) were shown backstage discussing what happened at NXT Takeover: New York, with Adam Cole putting the blame on Roderick Strong for the reason he is not the WWE NXT Champion.
Singles Match
Raul Mendoza defeated Riddick Moss.
In Ring Segment
WWE NXT Champion Johnny Gargano came to the ring and said that Full Sail has been waiting a long time to see him as Champion and that it was a long journey. The Undisputed Era, without Roderick Strong came out. Adam Cole said that Gargano got lucky, as he beat him in New York and should be the NXT Champion and that he is the uncrowned Champion, while Gargano is just a punk Champion. Gargano said that the last he looked, he beat Cole 2-1 and that’s not just definitive, that’s undisputed. Gargano said that if Cole wants to stop being a bay-bay about it, he’s willing to give him a rematch. Roderick Strong ran in from the crowd and attacked Gargano as the rest of The Undisputed Era joined in.
Singles Match
Dominik Dijakovic defeated ???. Post-match, Dijakovic talked about how he is only in NXT because of his family taking the opportunity to immigrate to the United States and said that he sees the NXT North American Championship as an opportunity, so Velveteen Dream needs to feast his eyes.
WWE NXT Women’s Championship Match
Shayna Baszler (c) defeated Kairi Sane via disqualification. Post-match, Kairi bowed to the crowd, which appeared to indicate that it was her final appearance.
TAPING TWO (Airing April 24th)
Singles Match
Humberto Carrillo defeated Jaxson Ryker via disqualification. Post-match, Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan came out to make the save as The Forgotten Sons were about to beat down Carrillo.
Tag Team Match
Candice LeRae & Kacy Catanzaro defeated Vanessa Borne & Aliyah.
Tag Team Match
War Raiders (Hanson & Rowe) defeated Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins).
Singles Match
Johnny Gargano defeated Roderick Strong. During the match, The Undisputed Era interfered, which led to Adam Cole accidentally kicking Roderick Strong. The Undisputed Era attempted to further interfere, but were stopped by Matt Riddle.

Dominik Dijakovic defeated Mansoor. Post-match, The Velveteen Dream came out on his couch to confront Dijakovic.
