– For those looking to view the new season of WWE NXT on WWE’s official website this Wednesday, the company have removed all listings and links for the new rebranded season of the series, which may make many believe that the show will not be available online officially this Wednesday. The show airs internationally and as of writing, is still confirmed for broadcast on Thursday on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom.

– Brock Lesnar is advertised to appear at the August 13th edition of WWE RAW prior to Summerslam. Lesnar is not advertised for any RAW events prior to that, so it will be interesting to see how they play his feud with Triple H over the summer.

– In an advertisement that ran last night for the WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view event, WWE hinted that John Cena may be returning to either the WWE Championship or World Heavyweight Championship scene with the voiceover stating, “John Cena returns to his hometown of Boston to try and re-capture championship glory.”

– As noted previously on the website, former TNA Wrestling superstar The Amazing Red was backstage at this past Sunday’s WWE No Way Out pay-per-view. Red was said to have been brought in to the event by Matt Striker and told people that he underwent a WWE tryout without providing any further details.

– Following last night’s edition of WWE RAW, A.W. tweeted about the actions of The Prime Time Players and their decision to walk away and be counted out last night. “Knowing when to retreat is just as important as knowing when to attack #ArtofWar #MillionsOfDollars The fact of the matter is, PTP’z are already the #1Contenders. Why waste our time with anyone other than the current #WWE tag team champs?!?”

– WWE superstar Chris Jericho will be getting his own web series, this according to an announcement from The Independent Production Fund in Canada who have approved funding for 15 scripted drama series. Jericho’s new series, “But I’m Chris Jericho” will be produced by Shannon Farr and Chris Jericho himself, with Bob Kerr, Craig Brown and Gary Rideout Jr doing the writing for the series.

– As seen on last night’s RAW, 80’s pop icon Cyndi Lauper made her first appearance for the company in 27 years. Original plans had Cyndi promoting a new reality show that comes out over the summer, however in speaking on his Twitter account, Roddy Piper noted that the segment was done to show to the fanbase where Cyndi Lauper is at now. The decision to bring Wendi Richter in was only made prior to the weekend and WWE were delighted when she accepted the invitation to appear.

– Mick Foley is planning a comedy show at the Improv Club in Los Angeles, California following the WWE Summerslam pay-per-view, this according to a tweet from William Regal who noted that Foley has invited him to participate in the show.

– Ricardo Rodriguez, the personal ring announcer for Alberto del Rio has been hinting of returning to his past name of Chimaera on his Twitter account following his attack on Santino Marella on last night’s RAW. Rodriguez wrote, “#Anger Rising, #ChimaerasRage”

– The Tri-Fitness Hall of Fame sent out note that former WWE Diva Torrie Wilson as well as current TNA Knockout Tara amongst other names will be inducted into the 2012 Tri-Fitness Hall of Fame. Torrie Wilson was the first-ever Tri-Fitness Grace & Physique Champion back in 1998, with Tara finishing in the top 5 of the Tri-Fitness World Challenge in the same year.
