In a temporary change due to the suspension of Randy Orton on SmackDown, WWE Champion CM Punk will be appearing on all SmackDown house show events effective June 23rd in Springfield, Illinois.

The decision was made by the company to put Punk on the live events, as they felt that SmackDown live events would suffer with not having Orton on the show. The change over the summer sees CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Alberto del Rio and Sheamus as the main draws on the SmackDown side of things, while it is expected that John Cena, The Big Show, Tensai, Kane, John Laurinaitis and Dolph Ziggler will be the main draws on the RAW side of things.
