Linda McMahon was last night endorsed as the Republican’s representative for Connecticut when she goes against Chris Murphy in November for a seat in the U.S. Senate. McMahon beat out her rival (in more ways than one) Chris Shays by a vote of 730 to 389 when the official tally was made, with the percentage at around 60.4% for McMahon, while Shays was approximately 32.2%.

Other candidates including Brian K. Hull, Peter Lumaj and Kie Westby got 66, 22 and 5 votes respectively.
