ROH World Champion Jay Lethal made his way to the ring and said that for years, he has been asked which of the ROH matches have been his favorite and said that he thinks back to facing off against Samoa Joe, Roderick Strong and AJ Styles, but that there is a new one to add to the list, because after last week, his favorite match that he’s ever had in ROH is the 30 Minute Iron Man Match against Jonathan Gresham. Lethal said that t was a match that reminded him of what ROH was built on, as you don’t need storylines, just two great wrestlers facing off to prove who is the best. Lethal said that at the end, Gresham earned his respect and is a good friend, noting that if Gresham ever needs him, he’s not far and said that he wants to have more matches like that for the ROH Title. Lethal said that for the first time ever, he is issuing a Lethal Challenge, not just to the ROH locker room, but to any locker room and said that if someone feels that they are the best technical or high-flying wrestler, he is only going to say this once, come and get your opportunity. A video of Will Ospreay appeared on the titantron, with Ospreay challenging Lethal to a match. Lethal confirmed that he will defend the title against Will Ospreay.

Sakai said that there is one person she wants to defend her title against that can validate her claim of being a great Champion and that is Tenille Dashwood. Tenille came out and accepted the challenge, but noted that there can only be one place for it and that is at the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view in Las Vegas. Tenille said that she respects Sakai as the foundation of the Women of Honor division, but just because she respects her does not mean that she will not take the title from her.

Jonathan Gresham came out for an interview, but was immediately interrupted by Bully Ray who stated that Gresham was a jobber and that 20 years ago, he would not have survived in this building and neither would the fans as they would have got their a** kicked by the old school fans. Bully said that if the fans cared about him, they would have given him a standing ovation when he came out and they did not. The fans rose to their feet and chanted for Gresham. Ian Riccaboni came to the ring and said that in a week’s time, the most important independent wrestling event of all time will take place and introduced Cody, noting that he will be challenging for the NWA World Championship at All In in Chicago. Riccaboni then introduced Nick Aldis. Cody said that no one is more persevering than the wrestling fan and that they have not seen real change since 2001 and said that he means real change in the wrestling economy and going from undesirable to undeniable, going All In. Cody said that All In is the biggest self-budgeted, self-promoted event of his entire life and said that his wife was backstage and did not want to come out. Fans chanted Brandi Rhodes’ name as she came out. Cody put over the show and said that he knew the fans were All In, before asking the Philly fans if they are All In. Nick Aldis took the mic and asked if Cody could put his PT Barnum routine away and look him in the eye like a man as Cody, the professional wrestler. Aldis said that maybe Cody is confident that he can walk out with this ten pounds of gold, or maybe it is easier to act that way when you know what you are going to deal with. Aldis then ran down the names of people he’s beaten in the ring including Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Jeff Hardy, noting that he is ready to add Cody’s name to that list. Aldis said that he is going to slap Cody around and make him humble in Chicago next week and said that he was the man who made the NWA World Championship mean something again.
